About the game
Advanced Chess is a modification to the original chess game.
In addition to regular chess, you can play three different game modes:
- Shuffled Chess The pieces are shuffled around on the board! Create new strategies!
- Randomized Chess The number of different types of pieces is varying! Spice up your strategies even more!
- Adventure mode Handle custom encounters where your skills will be put to the test!
Development
This game was developed as part of the Game Prototyping course on the IT University of Copenhagen in a span of one week. The game was developed by a team of two individuals.
Primary responsibility
I primarily worked on game logic (verifying legal moves) and UI design.
